Youth Winter Survival/ Leave No Trace

From 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
At the Kerry Wood Nature Centre
Survive and thrive in the great outdoors! Learn skills beneficial for surviving in the wild by identifying edible plants and learning other useful resources.
Ages 13 to 17. $15/youth. Pre-registration is required by January 26

Herbal Preparation Series
From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. each day.

Join certified Master Herbalist, Lu Meissner, for this amazing series on making your own herbal preparations.
 All materials provided.


Herbs For Skin Care & Herbal Preparations 4
Tuesday, January 16
From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
At the Kerry Wood Nature Centre
Lu will be covering how to make creams and ointments to help your skin better handle the cold Alberta winter months. Participants will get to take a cream and ointment home.
All materials provided. $40+GST/person

Medicinal Miracles In The Kitchen & Herbal Preparations 5
Tuesday, February 6
From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
At the Kerry Wood Nature Centre
Participants will be learning how to cook with culinary herbs for medicinal purposes. Lu will be teaching how to make herbal oils and vinegars. 
 Each participant will get to take either an oil or vinegar home.
All materials provided. $40+GST/person
