Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup
Sunday, September 9
From 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Everyone who participates will enjoy the rewarding experience that comes from working
 together and "leaving it better than you found it". The event will end with a barbecue 
and a draw for great prizes. There is no need to pre-register, but please
 wear appropriate footwear and bring gloves. Children 12 and under must 
be accompanied by an adult. Certificates are available upon request.

Harvest Moon Walk
Monday, September 24
From 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Celebrate fall with a night time nature walk and a viewing of the 
beautiful harvest moon! Weather permitting.
 All ages welcome. Adults must accompany children. $3/person or $10/family

Forest Bathing
Wednesday, September 26
From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Forest bathing is a mindfulness practice involving an immersion of the senses 
into our natural environment. Join us as we slow down and tune into the smells, 
textures and sights of the Sanctuary. 
Pay what you feel (suggested donation is $3/person) Everyone welcome. Drop in.

Mini Break Day Camps
Sept 14: All Things Animals;
Oct 4 & 5: Crawling and Creeping Critters;
Nov 7, 8 & 9: Fall Break Fun;
Dec 6 & 7: Let It Snow
Join our interpreter for hands-on nature 
exploration, games, crafts, and more, featuring a different theme each day. 
Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Ages 6 to 12. $30/day/child. 
Pre-registration required min. 3 days prior to camp. 
Before and after care available for a small additional fee.

 
Family Astronomy Club
Saturday, September 22 from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m.
& November 24 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Join us for this year’s meetings! Dress warmly and bring a telescope if you have one.   
Admission $17/family/meeting or $30/family for both Autumn meetings. Pre-registration required.

Play With Nature Crafts
  Saturday, September 29 
  From 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
  An afternoon of fun where your child can gather some natural 
items to craft with to make masks and pictures. Games and a nature walk included.  
Ages 7 to 13. Pre-registration required by Wednesday, September 26. $15/child
