Jupiter and the Full Moon are making a special close approach in the night sky!
Join an interpreter to view these two celestial bodies through one of our telescopes.

Red Deer Garden Club Plant Exchange

Plant donation drop off from 10:30 a.m. to noon
Plant sale from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Plants for donation must be potted and labelled beforehand. Invasive species will not be accepted.

Talk & Book signing with Mors Kochanski

Mors is widely known throughout North America and Europe for his extensive work in outdoor education and wilderness living.
 His passion and desire to learn everything about the Northern Forest has made him one of the world’s foremost authorities
 on Boreal wilderness skills and survival.. He popularised the term 'bushcraft' and coined the familiar saying "the more you know, the less you carry".
 Bushcraft, published in 1987, is a renowned text on survival skills and it’s evident that Mors is teaching from experience.

Terry Grant, The Real Mantracker
Saturday, June 17
two session: 9 a.m. to noon (adults) and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. (youth)
The art of tracking is a learned skill that has kept the human race alive since the beginning of time.
Now you too can resurrect your primal abilities with renowned tracker Terry Grant during this fun, hands-on experience.
Very limited space. Admission $100/adult, $75/youth.

A note on Raft Tours:
It was an up and down summer for rafting in 2016; unfortunately, our season was cancelled.
We are still taking names of interested parties for next season.
To those already on our waiting list: you have been troopers with your patience.
